Ávila celebrará el Día Internacional de la Personas con Discapacidad los días 3 y 4 de diciembre

El Consejo Municipal de Personas con Discapacidad ha aprobado hoy las actividades que se van a desarrollar en la ciudad con motivo del Día Internacional de las Personas con Discapacidad, que se celebra el 3 de diciembre.

Para esa jornada, el monumento de Los Cuatro Postes y el corpóreo se iluminarán de forma multicolor, en representación de todas las asociaciones que integran el Consejo.

En la jornada siguiente, 4 de diciembre, tendrá lugar una chocolatada por la mañana y el Auditorio Municipal de San Francisco acogerá por la tarde un espectáculo con actuaciones organizadas por las diferentes asociaciones.

En la reunión del Consejo Municipal de Personas con Discapacidad celebrada hoy, además, se ha aprobado la concesión del Símbolo Internacional de Accesibilidad – Ávila Accesible a dos establecimientos de la ciudad.

La reunión, que ha estado presidida por la teniente de alcalde de Servicios Sociales y Hacienda, Ángela García, ha contado con representantes de 19 de las 21 asociaciones que integran el Consejo Municipal de Personas con Discapacidad y de los grupos políticos con representación en el Ayuntamiento de Ávila.
